A Person Stands on an Empty Stage is a digital, single-player game that adds a surrealist take to the aesthetics and structures of performing on stage in order to explore questions around identity and the self, how it’s constructed and deconstructed, and what it takes to devote one’s life to a craft. The art of acting is explored through the mechanic of script-making: collecting and exchanging words through a visceral exchange of body parts with other non-playable actors on stage. As you build a character and assemble your script, you lose and add pieces of yourself. Lose yourself on stage if you want… and see what you become in the process.
